Testimonials

Every year, we are delighted to have both returning guests (some have been returning for over 20 years ) and new guests, thank you all for your kind comments in the lodges visitor books and online, below a few of them from 2017

“Wow what a great place. These fantastic lodges are set in beautiful surroundings. What a fantastic welcome and great introduction to the area we knew a lot of places nearby but we’re blown away by the number of things we were told about. Lodges were also very clean and tidy and equipped with everything you need. The beds were super comfortable. Thank you so much for a great stay.” Ben October 2017

“Have just returned from Tullochwood Lodges and cannot wait to return! The lodge was spotlessly clean, very comfy beds, breathtaking scenery and excellent hosts! Simon & Michelle go above and beyond to make sure your stay is just as you want, they are extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding area and aim to answer any query you may have. Have booked for next year already and am counting the days!” Alison Sept 2017

“We stayed very Tullochwood for a week in the 3 bedroom Eilean lodge. Both my husband and I and our wee boy who is 3 really loved this place. Such a peaceful location and lots of space for the wee one to run around and explore. Our lodge was spacious and very well appointed with everything we needed. Lots of great days out just within a short drive- we loved Fort George, Inverness leisure pool, Randolph’s leap and Roseisle Forest/Beach to name a few. The lunch menu in the Mosset Tavern in Forres is such good value and very tasty! We would love to return to this area and would definitely stay at Tullochwood again – thank you!” Minnie July 2017

“Everything we could have thought of was provided ie dishwasher tabs, bin bags, cloths, towels. Bedrooms – nice bedding & blankets, nicely done. Bathroom large. Spent most of our time in the conservatory. Even though we are not “out-doors” type people was still a very pleasant break. Very friendly owners. Far better than the average self catering” Sarah June 2017

“We stayed at Tullochwood with our son who has mobility and cognitive issues. The lodge was absolutely perfect for him, and us giving him the opportunity to experience the beautiful, tranquil setting without “obvious” equipment. This made him feel comfortable and relaxed in the surroundings. There is plenty to do, from forest walks, castles and gardens to delicious food at both the town of Forres and attractions such as Brodie Countryfare and Baxters. Simon and Michelle were wonderfully accommodating to our needs and were warm and welcoming to all of us. We will definitely visit again with our son and I would highly recommend Tullochwood.”Kathryn May 2017

“This is our 3rd visit to Tulloch wood. As always such a warm welcome. The lodges are perfect. Home from home. Everything you need to enjoy your stay. Ideally located with plenty to do in all directions. Without a doubt the best place we have ever visited.”Diane April 2017

“Lovely warm, cosy and clean lodge. Perfect for a winter visit to Forres. Very welcoming – Simon spent time with us at the beginning of our stay explaining local places of interest – ideal given that we had never been to the area and were only there for a few days. Would definitely return if we are in the area again.” Sonia February 2017

“The lodge was lovely, especially the big window at the front overlooking the lake. It was spacious for our family of 4 & our dog” Linzee January 2017
